Japan known for manga and anime. Most anime is based on manga, but also light novel or video games. The manga or anime sometimes inspires live action film or series, Such as Dragon Ball Evolution and Attack on Titan. Most of popular anime based live action flopped and get criticized. But it doesn't mean stop them to bring the anime or manga into live action, beside, there are good live action such as Rurouni Kenshin and Death Note live action.
